Why Agriculture?

It's the backbone of economies vast,
Of different nations and cultures that last.
The food for families, from the fields it flows,
Foundations of civilizations, in its essence it grows.

It's the sustenance we need to thrive,
The clothes we wear, keeping hope alive.
The medicine to help defeat death's call,
The shelter that supports us all.

It's the noblest of all professions,
Feeding everyone without exceptions.
The reason why people strive each day,
To ensure it’s always here to stay.

Nations will fall if it’s disregarded,
For it’s the soul on which they’re guarded.
Humanity extinct if it were none,
Yet progress assured when its care’s begun.

Embrace agriculture, make us one,
Keep it in our hearts and in our minds.
Engage in it through generations by generations,
Securing our future with firm foundations.
